1967- Development of the Ten Point Program
The Ten Point Program was created for African Americans. African Americans created a plan for them with ten goals. They wanted freedom, full employment for everyone, end racism, decent housing and shelter, a real education, free healthcare for all people of all races, end to black people brutality, end to wars of aggression and freedom for ALL black people. Panther members were required to memorize these ten points if they wanted to be part of the organization. Over the years the black panthers were very successful in achieving these ten goals, plus more. These plans left a legacy for everyone to follow, anyone can achieve anything if they set their minds to it.
